happy news

so i just read that post and i thought- that was kind of depressing. there are 2 things that i noticed lately- 1) maria has super long eye lashes and 2) when she kicks her legs around like she is riding a bicycle there is a little crinkle noise from her diaper that makes me laugh. i wish i was more clever so i could name the little diaper rubbing noise but i'm sure all the recent parents know the noise i am describing. one more observation- i can totally sleep through the most annoying alarm clock in the world but maria's little lip/ tongue smacky noises will wake me up in a heartbeat.
